Can I visit the Science Store?
Yes, you can! Please visit the Science World website https://www.scienceworld.ca/welcome-back/ for information on our operating hours and the COVID-19 measures in place to help visitors enjoy Science World and the science store.
Can I visit the Science Store without purchasing an admissions ticket?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome! Masks are mandatory to enter and are available for purchase inside. Please enter through the Science World lobby, where one of our friendly staff will assist you with a self-health assessment and escort you to the store.
What safety measures are in place to ensure the health and safety of your staff and visitors?
Science World is committed to promoting a healthy, safe and supportive environment. We have implemented new policies and procedures so staff and visitors can browse comfortably. We are observing all guidance from our provincial and federal health authorities to minimize the risk to our staff and visitors onsite. Do you offer delivery or curbside pickup for the online store?
We offer both delivery through Canada Post (with a flat charge) and curbside pickup (free) on all items in the science store. To assist in observing physical distancing guidelines, we ask that you remain in your vehicle and we will bring your purchased items out to you.
I don’t live in B.C. Can you still ship to me?
We ship Canada-wide. Shipping may be delayed depending on the shipping destination as Canada Post deals with COVID-19 delays. We thank you for your patience during this time.

What is the processing time for online orders?
We work hard to ensure orders are met in a safe and timely matter. We will ship orders within 24 hours of the confirmation email, including weekends and statutory holidays.

What if I can’t find my confirmation email in my inbox?
Please check your junk mail as it may have been flagged. If you still can’t find the confirmation email, please give us a call at 604-433-7580 and we’ll be happy to confirm your order and resend the confirmation email.
I’m a Science World BC member; can I redeem my discount online?
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to apply membership discounts through our online store. Please visit the science store onsite and we will be happy to process your discount.
I’m a BC teacher; can I redeem my discount online?
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to apply teacher discounts through our online store. Please visit the science store onsite and we will be happy to process your discount.
I have a Science World gift card; can I redeem it online?
At this time, we are not able to process gift card transactions through our website. Please visit the science store onsite and we will be happy to assist your gift card transaction.
Are all the items online eligible for curbside pickup?
Yes, all items online are available for free curbside pickup. Just choose the “curbside pickup” option when you check out.
When will my order be ready for curbside pickup?
We are working hard to ensure orders are met in a safe and timely matter. We will process pickup orders within 24 hours of the confirmation email, including weekends and statutory holidays. We will send you an email once your order is ready for pickup.

Where do I pick up my order?
Free ten-minute parking will be available to you in front of Science World in the designated curbside pickup layby lane. Please follow the instructions provided in your pickup confirmation email.
What do I need to pick up my order?
We ask to provide your pickup confirmation email, confirm the name on the order, and the make and license plate of your vehicle (if driving) before we bring your order out to you.
Can I still pick up my order if I don't have a car?
Yes, you can. Select curbside pick up and in the special notes, write that you will be coming in person to pick up your order. A staff member will bring your order while wearing a face mask and maintaining 2 m in social distancing.
Please note, if you come in person please wear a face mask, maintain 2 m in distance, and follow the pick up confirmation instructions when its ready.
Can someone else pick up my order if I cannot make it?
Please contact us to let us know if someone other than you will be picking up your order. Ensure they have the pickup confirmation email when they arrive at Science World. They’ll need to provide their name and make of their vehicle, if driving.
How long will I have to pick up my order?
To ensure space in our store, we ask that you pick up your order one week from receiving your pickup confirmation email. If you have not picked it up by then, we will process the order as a refund and pay back the credit card provided. If you are unable to pick up your order within a week, please contact us and we will be able to assist you.
Can I pick up some items in my order and ship others to my house?
Unfortunately, no. You must create two separate orders if you would like to do that.
What if I want to pick up my order, then do more shopping inside the store?
If you’d like to come inside, you will be required to park in our paid lot (if driving) and enter the lobby as a walk-in. Masks are required, and a self-health assessment must be completed in order to enter the Science Store.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
We ship orders within 24 hours of the confirmation email, including weekends and statutory holidays. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped.

Orders shipped through Canada Post typically take 2-7 business days, depending on the destination. Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shipments may take longer than usual. We thank you in advance for your patience.
Can I cancel my pick-up order?
You can cancel your curbside pickup order and receive a refund at any time by contacting us.
Can I cancel my shipped order?
Please contact us as soon as possible to cancel an order. If your order has already shipped, please contact us once you receive it and we’ll be happy to assist you with returning the order and processing your refund.
How do I return an item (or order) that I picked up?
Please contact us so that we may assist you in arranging a time to complete the in-store return.
